UAE-Germany travel: Etihad, Condor announce daily Berlin and Frankfurt flights to Abu Dhabi in Summer 2026
Codeshare deal boosts Europe-GCC connectivity with new direct access
ABU DHABI – Etihad Airways and German carrier Condor have announced a major strategic partnership that includes the launch of new daily flights connecting Berlin and Frankfurt with Abu Dhabi from Summer 2026.
The agreement introduces expanded travel options for passengers in both markets, alongside an extensive codeshare arrangement that will broaden access across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa. The move also reinforces Abu Dhabi’s position as a fast-growing global hub with strong tourism appeal and increasing international airline partnerships.
New routes
From 1 May 2026, Condor will begin operating daily flights between Frankfurt and Abu Dhabi using Airbus A330 aircraft.

This will be followed by the launch of daily Berlin-Abu Dhabi flights from 15 June 2026, operated by Airbus A320 aircraft.

The new routes will offer German travellers direct, convenient access to Abu Dhabi and seamless onward connections across Etihad’s network, covering destinations in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Australia.
Etihad said the partnership reflects clear and growing passenger demand between the UAE and Germany. The capital-to-capital link between Berlin and Abu Dhabi is expected to support stronger bilateral travel flows, while the additional Frankfurt services will enhance access from Europe’s financial hub.
Codeshare deal
The strategic agreement also includes a comprehensive codeshare, enabling both airlines to place their codes on select flights operated by the other. Once regulatory approvals are secured, full details of the routes included will be announced. Travellers booking Etihad or Condor services will benefit from coordinated schedules, smoother transfers and an expanded range of destinations through the combined networks.

Etihad Guest members will be able to earn and redeem miles on Condor-operated flights between Germany and Abu Dhabi, with both airlines confirming that further loyalty benefits will be added as the partnership develops.
Network expansion
Condor described the partnership as a major step in its global expansion strategy, particularly as it strengthens connectivity from its Frankfurt hub. For Etihad, the collaboration supports Abu Dhabi’s broader tourism ambitions and adds new capacity from a key European market. Together, the two airlines will provide access to more than 80 destinations across their networks.
Tickets for the new services are now available through etihad.com and condor.com, offering travellers increased flexibility and more choice when planning journeys between Europe and the GCC.
